Einblick in unsere Clinic

Ein kleiner Einblick in unsere Helping Hands Clinic im Busch von Mtwapa/Kenia. 
Bei meinem Arbeitseinsatz versuchte ich ein wenig System und Ordnung in die Clinic zu bringen. Bei manchen kleinen Patienten machte ich einen Hausbesuch in der Hütte, wie bei der kleinen Salma. Ihr Zustand schien sehr schlecht und wir schickten sie zuerst in das staatliche Krankenhaus und dann in ein Privathospital. Kompliziertere Fälle müssen wir in ein Krankenhaus weiter schicken. Das staatliche Krankenhaus behandelt Kinder bis zu 5 Jahren gratis. Besser sind aber die Privatkrankenhäuser. In ein solches (Premier-Hospital) durfte ich eine Studentin begleiten. Dieses Krankenhaus hat westlichen Standard. Hier würde ich mich auch behandeln lassen. Übrigens der kleinen Patientin geht es wieder gut.
