"Stille"

Die Thermofenster sind geschlossen. Die Rollläden herunten. Die Luft ist schon sehr heiß. Durch die Fenster dringt der Lärm des Kompressors auf der Krankenhausbaustelle. Vom Gang her höre ich Gespräche der Schwestern mit und natürlich jeden Schritt, der bei der offenen Zimmertür vorbeikommt. Das ist hier Stille. Leider ist es immer nur eine Sache von Minuten. Ansonsten unterhalten sich die Bettnachbarinnen in voller Lautstärke oder irgend ein Telefon klingelt. Von den Besuchen zu jeder Zeit ganz zu schweigen. So wichtig für mich die sozialen Kontakte sind, aber ich würde klingelnde Telefone im Krankenzimmer fast verbieten. Seit 5 Tagen darf ich am Nachmittag für ein paar Stunden nach Hause. Dort habe ich wirkliche Stille, die nur von Vogelgezwitscher oder dem gelegentlichen Krähen unseres Hahnes unterbrochen wird. Selbst das Spielen unserer Kinder neben mir empfinde ich als erholsam. Ohne diese Ausgänge würde ich diese Zeit herinnen nicht mehr aushalten.

Morgen  bekomme ich einen neuen Port. Die Ärzte befürchten Komplikationen. Erst nach dem Aufwachen werde ich wissen, wo der neue Port ist.  Möglicherweise am Oberschenkel. Und ich hoffe, dass die wahrscheinlichste Komplikation, die mir angekündigt wurde, Pneumothorax, nicht eintritt.
